On this page you'll find all our ski touring posts. We've been getting seriously into ski touring since we moved to a small village in the Val d'Hérens (our little corner of paradise in Switzerland)... and we've been addicted ever since ;) .
I have to say that ski touring is a sport that combines many of the elements we enjoy. Access to wild mountain areas, a feeling of freedom both on the way up and on the way down, the pleasure of riding in powder snow, of pushing yourself to the limit on the way up.... Makes me wonder why I didn't start sooner ;)
But it's also a sport that can be dangerous, that requires a lot of gear, experience and a good level of skiing... So below, we're sharing all our tips and recommendations, hoping you'll be inspired to take up ski touring too.
